चंद्र दर्शन :- चंद्रमा के दर्शन करना हमारे लिए बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। अमावस्या या अमावस्या के दिन चंद्रमा के दिखाई देने की घटना को चंद्र दर्शन के रूप में जाना जाता है। अमावस्या के ठीक बाद भगवान चंद्र को देखने की यह घटना बहुत ही शुभ होती है। यह बहुत ही शुभ है और इसका बड़ा धार्मिक महत्व है।
चंद्रमा या चंद्र की पहचान वेदों में वैदिक चंद्र देवता सोम के साथ भी की गई है। सोम शब्द का क्या अर्थ है? पौधों के रस से जो रस निकलता है उसे सोम कहते हैं। अत: चन्द्रमा को सोम का नाम देने पर चन्द्रमा पौधों और वनस्पतियों का स्वामी होता है। इसे एक महत्वपूर्ण 'ग्रह' या 'नवग्रह' का ग्रह कहा गया है, जो पृथ्वी पर जीवन को प्रभावित करता है। हमारे वेदों में भगवान चंद्र का विशद वर्णन किया गया है। इसे युवा, सुंदर, गोरा बताया गया है। यह दो भुजाओं वाला है और इसके हाथ में एक क्लब और एक कमल है। वह कौन सा वाहन है जिस पर चंद्रमा सवार होता है? यह एक रथ पर सवार होता है जिसे दस सफेद घोड़ों द्वारा खींचा जाता है। इसे ओस से जोड़ा गया है और इसे उर्वरता का देवता कहा गया है। चंद्रमा को दिए गए अन्य नाम रजनीपति, क्षुपाकर और इंदु हैं। सोम के साथ संबंध होने के कारण चंद्रमा से जुड़ा दिन सोमवार है। चंद्रा का विवाह 27 नक्षत्रों से हुआ है, जिन्हें दक्ष की पुत्रियों के रूप में जाना जाता है। चंद्र बुध ग्रह के बुध ग्रह के पिता हैं और उनकी माता तारा है।

अमावस्या के दिन चंद्रमा देर रात्री को दिखाई देता है। हिंदू धर्म इस दिन अत्याधिक धार्मिक कार्य होते है एवं अन्य लोग अधर्मी प्रवृत्ति के लोग इस रात्री का गलत शक्तियों के लिए भी किया करते है। अमावस्या के दिन भगवान चंद्रमा की पूजा करते है और विशेष प्रार्थना एवं उपवास भी किया जाता है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि इस दिन अमावस्या के बाद चंद्रमा को दखेना बहुत शुभ माना जाता एवं इच्छाये भी पूर्व होती है। अमावस्या के अगले दिन चंद्रमा दर्शन के रूप में चंद्रमा भगवान का सम्मान एवं पूजा अर्चना भी की जाती है। चंद्रमा दर्शन बड़े उत्साह और भक्ति के साथ मनाया जाता है।
चंद्र दर्शन का महत्व:- हिन्दू धर्म में चंद्रमा भगवान को पूजनीय देवताओं में एक माना जाता है यह देव सबसे अधिक भी पूजनीय माने जाते है इनका नवग्रहों में नाग शामिल किया गया है। यह ग्रह नवग्रह का महत्वपूर्ण ग्रह है। जो पृथ्वी पर जीवन को प्रभावित करता है चंद्रमा को एक अनुकूल ग्रह के रूम में पूजा एवं माना जाता है। यह ज्ञान, पवित्रता और मानसिक स्वास्थ्य से भी जुड़ा है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि व्यक्ति की राशि एवं कुण्डली में चंद्रमा की स्थिति अनुकूल होती है। उसका जीवन पर अधिक प्रभाव पड़ता है एवं सफल और समृद्ध होता है। धार्मिक ग्रंथों की माने तो यह भी कहा जाता है कि भगवान चंद्र देव को पौधे और पशुओं के प्रमुख देव माने जाते है। भगवान चंद्रमा जी का विवाह 27 नक्षत्रों से हुआ जो प्रजापति समाज के दक्ष राजा की बेटियॉ है। हिन्दू भक्त चंद्रमा भगवान की पूजा करते है।
पूजा एवं अर्चना:- पारंपरिक हिंदू कैलेंडर के अनुसार, इस दिन अमावस्या या अमावस्या के दिन पहली बार चंद्रमा देखा जाता है। इसलिए इसे चंद्र दर्शन के रूप में मनाया जाता है। चंद्र दर्शन पूरे दिन उपवास करके और सूर्यास्त के बाद चंद्रमा को देखने के बाद व्रत तोड़कर मनाया जाता है। ज्योतिष के अनुसार, चंद्र देव एक ग्रह है, और यह कोमलता, संवेदनशीलता, भावनाओं और मन का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है। वह वनस्पति के देवता हैं क्योंकि ऐसा माना जाता है कि देवता चंद्रमा को प्याले के रूप में उपयोग करके सोम पीते हैं। उसे दो हाथों से चित्रित किया गया है। उनके एक हाथ में क्लब है और दूसरे हाथ में कमल है। हिंदू किंवदंतियों के अनुसार, चंद्र देव हर रात दस सफेद घोड़ों द्वारा खींचे गए रथ पर पूरे आकाश में सवारी करते हैं। चंद्र देव से जुड़ी कई कहानियां हैं। सबसे लोकप्रिय गणेश चतुर्थी, राहु और केतु और सोमनाथ मंदिर से जुड़े हैं।
चंद्र दर्शन के दिन, भक्त भगवान चंद्रमा को प्रसन्न करने के लिए कठोर उपवास करके चंद्रमा भगवान की पूजा करते हैं। वे दिन भर कुछ भी खाने-पीने से बचते हैं। चंद्र दर्शन के बाद व्रत तोड़ा जाता है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि जो भक्त चंद्र दर्शन के दिन चंद्रमा भगवान की पूजा करता है, उसे सौभाग्य और समृद्धि की प्राप्ति होती है। चंद्र दर्शन पर दान देना भी एक महत्वपूर्ण अनुष्ठान है। लोग इस दिन ब्राह्मणों को कपड़े, चावल और चीनी का दान करते हैं।
चन्द्र दर्शन के लाभ:- चंद्र दर्शन का दिन चंद्रमा-देवता से विशेष उपकार पाने के लिए होता है। भक्त कठोर व्रत और तपस्या करके देवता की पूजा करते हैं। ऐसा माना जाता है कि जो लोग इस दिन पूजा अर्चना करते हैं, उन्हें सौभाग्य, समृद्धि और बुद्धि प्राप्त करने का लाभ मिलता है। पवित्र और शक्तिशाली चंद्र मंत्रों के जाप के बाद उपवास करने से व्यक्ति को आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान और अनुग्रह प्राप्त करने में मदद मिल सकती है। नकारात्मक ऊर्जा को छोड़ने के लिए चंद्र यंत्र की पूजा करके विशेष लाभ प्राप्त किया जा सकता है। इस दिन ब्राह्मणों को कपड़े, चावल और चीनी का दान करने से अच्छा शगुन आकर्षित होता है।

The fast is broken after moon sighting. It is believed that the devotee who worships the Moon God on the day of Chandra Darshan, is blessed with good fortune and prosperity. Giving donations on Chandra Darshan is also an important ritual. People donate clothes, rice and sugar to Brahmins on this day.
